John was a kind and generous soul, deeply dedicated to the radio community, his club, and his church. He proudly served as Net Control for the World Famous Highlands County Amateur Radio Club Wednesday night net, among many other roles. His warmth, quiet leadership, and willingness to help others will be deeply missed.

Don was more than just a fellow operator,he was a Navy veteran, mentor, and trusted voice in our community. With over 25 years in the hobby, he gave back through mentorship, testing, and as Net Control for the Saturday morning health and welfare net. His calm and encouraging presence touched many lives.
Their signals may now be silent, but their legacy lives on in every contact, every net, and every operator they inspired.
Rest easy, gentlemen.
