A little update on our search for a replacement antenna for our repeater site. Within the last few days, we have located a DB-420-B antenna for sale fairly local to us in North Port. Although the individual has reduced their asking price a couple of times, we currently only have about half the amount currently being asked available from the donations that we have received over the last few months. I have reached out to the individual with information regarding our situation in an attempt to see if we can come to an agreement on cost. Although I’m sure that we will still need more funds to complete the purchase. So, for those that enjoy the ability to communicate around Highlands County using the Sebring .675 repeater, any monetary donation you are able to make to this effort would be greatly appreciated.
